Highest international award for Lekkerland with the shop concept “Frischwerk®”
This has never happened before: a German convenience format wins the prestigious “International Convenience Retailer of the Year Award – Honorable Mention” in the “small formats” category.
The coveted prize is awarded by NACS, the National Association of Convenience Stores, the industry’s leading international trade association with more than 2,100 affiliated convenience retailers and 1,600 suppliers.
The award honors Lekkerland for the conception and implementation of the test shop concept Frischwerk®, which breaks new ground and sets innovative standards for the industry and in particular the gas station channel. Frischwerk® prevailed against numerous global applications worldwide.
For the first time, a German company was included in the awards.
